Driving home from work last week I passed a new subdivision with multimillion dollar homes in it – it had just opened. So I popped in for a quick look and decided that my freshly washed Boxster would look damned good parked in front of one of them. Click the slideshow to view the images in a larger format.

Tuesday I was driving up to TN to pick Mom up from the hospital, when I was stopped on highway 64 due to a rockslide. This is the road that parallels Hiawassee (where the Olympics were held a few years back).

It occurs to me that me and my little car would have been nothing but soggy mush had we been under that.

Weezers new album was released today – here’s the video for the first single, “(If you’re wondering if I want you to), I want you to”. Good tune, reminiscent of their older stuff.
