Another year, another kidney stone

For the umpteenth year in a row, I have a kidney stone. I can’t help but think this is some payback for my past transgressions. If so, I’ll take it I guess.
Worst thing is I have a shit load of work to do, and can’t even sit up long enough to get anything done. Ugh.
The good news is it’s 5pm and I’m two pain pills and two beers (helps speed the passing of said evil stones) into recovery. Good night, Gracie.
