Being proactive is for suckers

Seriously.

There are no advantages to being proactive. It only leads to tears.

It’s much better to be REactive. That way people can see what a quick thinking man of action you are!

Being the hero who runs into a burning building and rescues a kitten is always better than being the person who installs fire alarms and sprinklers.

Todays words is Ineffectual:

  • ineffective: not producing an intended effect; “an ineffective teacher”; “ineffective legislation”
  • futile: producing no result or effect; “a futile effort”; “the therapy was ineffectual”; “an otiose undertaking”; “an unavailing attempt”
  • ineffective: lacking in power or forcefulness; “an ineffectual ruler”; “like an unable phoenix in hot ashes”
