Crash! Boom! Bam!

So Thursday afternoon I took off from work a few minutes early, hoping to beat traffic. Didn’t really work out.
In some fairly slow moving traffic, the truck in front of the truck in front of ME edged forward a couple feet, then so did the guy ahead of me…but he hit his brakes quick, and whammo.

No citations were handed out, and of the 3 trucks involved, only my little girly truck was damaged. Of course.

Been a little sore since, but nothing major. The body shop guy says the repairs will be in the $8k range. Yeah, that much damage in 10mph traffic.

    Too bad! I was rear-ended myself down near the Emerson exit Saturday before last. Fortunately, my jeep got the better end of the deal…very little damage…the other car wasn’t so lucky. They also had the misfortune of whacking me while a cop sat across the street watching the entire event.
