At the ‘Marble Festival’ parade on the 3rd, I took advantage of a sunny day and added the Boxster to the festivities much to the horror of young Tori, who started the parade as part of the Color Guard. My nephew (in-law) Jeremy acted as the official waver for our float, assuring attendees that he ‘is important’ and to ‘vote for Pedro’, as well as greeting the women folk with the ever classy greeting ‘hello ladies…’. I only intended to stay in for a block or so, but we ended up staying in for the entire route, avoiding horse crap and insane Shriners on motor bikes.
