Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium

Holy crap. This album is amazing. I loved Californication, but the RHCP have really outdone themselves with this one.
I don’t think it is an undertstatement to say that they have become one of the best bands in America; a band that will be remembered for years to come after they have long stopped putting out amazing music like this.

Sit back and enoy one of the best albums I’ve heard in a LOOOONG time. Comprised of some very well known musicians (Jack White - White Stripes, Brendan Benson - a well known Chicago session player, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler from the Greenhornes).

The album is everything you would expect from professionals who love to play more than they love to breathe.

I can’t stop listening to Queens of the Stone Age.

Seriously; I have a playlist of their stuff on my iPod, and whether I am in the car or at work, I’ve had that playlist playing virtually non-stop for about a month now.

I remember a few years ago when ‘Songs for the Deaf’ came out that some critic somewhere said they were the best American band in action. I was not totally in agreement, but since I have this bizarre man crush on Dave Grohl, and he did the drumwork on that album, I let it slide.
